Jared Curhan, winner of 2019 Teaching with Digital Technology Award
Jared Curhan uses digital technology to provide feedback while his students practice their negotiation skills in his classes at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He uses a platform designed to simulate negotiation exercises between students, and after each exercise, it quickly provides data about how each participant performed, both objectively and subjectively. For this work, Prof Curhan received a Teaching with Digital Technology Award from MIT in 2019, a student-nominated award for instructors who have used digital technology to improve teaching and learning at MIT.
